What is a Ticket?

A ticket is a small, official piece of paper, which shows that you have paid to enter a place such as a theater or a sports stadium. Tickets come in various sizes and can be distributed by many different agencies. For example, Ticket Master, the actual venue or even a 3rd party vendor. This leaves many different possibilities for the collector.

What is a Ticket Stub

A ticket stub is a ticket that has any part of it removed either during entry, or on accident. This makes the ticket incomplete, but can still be very collectable, as most tickets are stubs.

What is a Seat Locator

A seat locator is a ticket-like piece of paper given to you at the venue instead of an actual ticket. This will have the event info and your seat number on it. In the recent years, as tickets have been phased out for digital mean, venues are using seat locators. These are becoming collectable with the absence of traditional tickets. Collectors may only be able to acquire these in the future
